The youth player of Birmingham City, James McPike , woke up with an unexpected gift from the French striker , Oliver Kapo. Wanting to show gratitude for the fact that the 20 year ood took good care of his soccer shoes, Kapo gave the young player the keys to his Mercedes. The car is worth 45 000 euros, and the kid is already thinking hot to pay the inssurance for it, knowing that he earns 450 euros a week. Today in Vienna, the official EURO 2008 Final ball was presented by Michel Platini (foto), the UEFA president, and Herbert Hainer, the Adidas president. The ball, silver with black, is called Europass Gloria, because “the winners will be covered in glory and honor”, explained the two. “Owing to the ball’s extraordinary qualities, Europass Gloria offers a much better precision, in any sort of weather conditions.” , reavealed the Adidas reprezentative. Chelsea is in the Uefa Champions League final where they will meet Manchester United, this season’s great rivals, the two teams also fighting to win the Premiership. The score was 1-1 after 90 minutes, but in the extra time , Chelsea got two goals , one by Lampard who scored a penalty, and one by Drogba after a great play from Anelka. Zenit St. Petersburg is the new winner of the UEFA Cup. The Russians won the final against Glasgow Rangers 2-0 tonight and brought the cup back to Russia after 3 years. With the best striker of the competition suspended, the goals didn’t come as many as in theeir previous games, but Denisov 77′ and Zyrianov in the last minute made the difference in a game that was a bit one-sided. It’s getting worser and worser for Ronaldo. After the phone company TIM from Italy broke the Brazilian star’s contract, UNICEF did the same.
