The star from Portugal celebrated after the win against Arsenal in the Premier League 2-1 like party animals do. Cristiano Ronaldo threw a big party , at which showed up Brown, Rio Ferdinand, O’Shea, Evra and of course his new girlfriend Nereida Gallardo.The party lasted until morning, the champagne only costing an outrageous 15.000 euros.

Ronaldo is almost certain champion with Manchester, the devils having a 4 point lead ahead of Chelsea with only 5 games left in the season.He is also the best scorer of the team, with 38 goals in all competitions.

The manager of Manchester United is happy that he won the English derby 2-1. “It was a great game, incredible.You won’t find another one better than this in the whole season ” declared Ferguson, that also mentioned : ” It has been a torture at the same time . The Italian derby ended with a win fot the Torino team after a dramatic comeback. After they grabbed the lead thanks to Del Piero in the 12th minute, Milan scored twice, goals signed Inzaghi 14th and 31st minute.Just before the break,Salihamidzici got the equaliser for Juventus and in the second half , in the 80th minute, he scored again winning the game for the home side

Juventus assures their 3rd place in Seria A, while MIlan is in danger now of losing their 5th place and dropping in 7th place if Sampdoria win today at Reggina and Udinese win at home with AS Rome.

Although the talented player from Portugal still has 4 more years left of the present contract, Man Utd wants to keep him as much as possible, especially now when big clubs have shown interest for Ronaldo.His new contract will have a 5 year length and it will be the biggest one in Manchester’s history : 40 million pounds! This means 150 000 a week

It looks llike one of the Liverpool owners, Tom Hicks, demanded the executive Rick Parry to sign his resignation.The reason? The american billioner considers that Parry made a pact with the other owner of the club, Geroge Gillett, Hicks having different points of view of administrating the english club than Gillett.

Incredible night in the Uefa Cup!
Adrian Mutu qualifies Fiorentina in the semi-finals after he scored twice on Phillips Stadium, scoring a beautiful first goal with a great shot from outside the box. Score on aggregate 3-1 and Fiorentina meet Glasgow Rangers in the semi-finals , the Scottish team winning in Lisbon against Sporting.
Contra strikes again against Bayern Munich after he scored in the first leg too, but the Germans qualify. The Romanian defender scored in the 44th minute the first goal of the match, but Ribery equalised in the 90th minute.After extra time Bayern goes through with agregate 4-4. The Munich team will meet Zenit in the semi-finals.

Bayer Leverkusen won today in St.Petersburg 1-0 against the home team Zenit, but they leave the Uefa Cup competition because of the 4-2 aggregate. Zenit hopes now to repeat the CSKA performance from 2005 when they won the competition. Leverkusen leaves Bayern Munich to be the only German team left in the European competitions who will have a tough match at Getafe Zenit will play with the winner from the quarterfinal Getafe - Bayern (1-1 first leg on Allianz Arena).

Tonight Manchester and Barcelona qualified in the semi-finals of the Uefa Champions League were they will play against eachother in a true final if I may say so

Barcelona also won 1-0 with German team Schalke , Toure shattering their dreams of a semi-final in the 43rd minute. Score on aggregate : 2-0. The catalans will have a tough job eliminating Manchester which are having a great season
