The Italian national team had a great surprise in training today after 2 women ran into the field and started stripping for the players. Of course the “show” ended real fast, as the bodyguards took them quickly into custody. The most fortunate player was Quagliarella who got a kiss on the cheek from one of them.Damn these Italians, they always get what’s best . This is the video ^_^ :

 

Beckham scored a goal from his own half in MLS! | VIDEO

In this weekend’s match against Kansas City, David Beckham from LA Galaxy scored a spectacular goal from his own half in the last seconds of the game. LA was leading 2-1 in the ending of the game, so the Kansas goalkeeper fled his goal to try his luck at the last corner kick of the match. Only that David got the ball on a counter attack and he scored from his own half, the goal beeing of course empty . This is the goal :

As we all expected, Portsmouth won the FA Cup defeating Cardiff City 1-0 with a goal signed Kanu after he missed a good chance a few minutes before the goal. David James was again the man of the match for Portsmouth and showed us all why he should be England’s number 1 goalkeeper. It was the first FA Cup for them after 69 years of wait. Zenit St. Petersburg is the new winner of the UEFA Cup. The Russians won the final against Glasgow Rangers 2-0 tonight and brought the cup back to Russia after 3 years. With the best striker of the competition suspended, the goals didn’t come as many as in theeir previous games, but Denisov 77′ and Zyrianov in the last minute made the difference in a game that was a bit one-sided. Rangers was the team with the best defence this year but the ambition of the Russians was too much for them . Congratulations Zenit !

He got a Mercedes for taking care of a pair of shoes !

The youth player of Birmingham City, James McPike , woke up with an unexpected gift from the French striker , Oliver Kapo. Wanting to show gratitude for the fact that the 20 year ood took good care of his soccer shoes, Kapo gave the young player the keys to his Mercedes. The car is worth 45 000 euros, and the kid is already thinking hot to pay the inssurance for it, knowing that he earns 450 euros a week. Money isn’t a problem for Oliver though, the striker winning over 2.2 million euros, and owning another 2 cars : a Hummer and a Porsche .

An Inter fan threw his TV out the window ! | VIDEO

Inter managed to get only a draw from the game against Siena in Milano 2-2, missing a penalty thanks to Materazzi. The miss didn’t have repercussions only on the pitch, and in a Pisa home, an Inter fan threw his 28 inch TV out the window ! The poor guy got a fine for throwing dangerous objects and Inter have to win the last game of the Seria A to be sure they win it, AS Roma being only 1 point behind now. Materazzi obtained the penalty, but in a desperate wish to become a hero, he missed it like a beginner and became the most cursed player form the team ;) . Middlesbrough - Manchester City 8-1 ! Total humiliation | VIDEO

Middlesbrough played their best game this season , and why not the best in the Premier League this season. Manchester City was humiliated 8-1, right after a few days ago , Eriksson declared a few days ago that he is pleased with what he has done this year at City. Alves scored a hat-trick, while the only goal for Manchester City was scored by Blumer. This game reminded me of the good times when Middlesbrough had no problem in the Uefa Cup a few years ago, scoring goal after goal, and defeating losers like Basel or Steaua that had a 3-0 lead. And for Man City, I have to say that Eriksson should stop bragging and do some work around there . These are the highlights :
