Manchester United won the Premier League today after the win at Wigan ! The devils won it in the last game, while Chelsea made only a draw home with Bolton. The best team won it I can say . Boavista Porto relegated in Portugal !

 After 4 years of trials on the corruption scandal in Portugal, the guilty part suffers for paying referees. Boavista was relegated in the second division, and FC Porto’s president, Jorge Pinto da Costa, was suspended 2 years. At the same time, Porto, already champions, with a 20 point lead, was penalized 6 points and got a fine of 150 000 euros. Boavista, 9th place in Portugal with 36 points, was relegated for “putting presure on referees” in 3 games from the 2003-2004 season. The second team of Porto got a fine worth of 180 000 euros, and the ex-president Joao Loureiro got a 25 000 euros one and 4 years suspension.

K1 attack from Wise in Hamburg-Werder 0-1 | VIDEO

Soccer is getting a more dangerous sport with every derby. Last night in the Hamburg - Werder Bremen game, Wise the goalkeeper from Bremen performed a K1 attack on poor Olici, hitting him in the head with his foot. He got only a yellow card as you will see in the video, but that was a criminal attack that deserves at least a few games suspension. Or a fine at least, cause soccer should be a beautiful sport, not a K1 fight. This is the highlight :

 

Real Madrid - Barcelona 4-1 | VIDEO

Real Madrid won El Clasico against old rivals Barcelona 4-1, after a demolishing 4-0 lead. Raul in the 13th minute, Robben in the 20th, Higuain in the 63rd minute and Nistelrooy with a penalty in the 77th minute ensured a great victory for the champions of Spain. Barcelona scored thanks to Henry in the 87th minute their only goal of the game, and Xavi saw the red card 3 minutes later to make the night complete for the catalans. It has been a terrible season for Barca, and so this summer must bring a change in the team. We know Guardiola will replace Rijkaard, but is he the only one responsable for the bad results ? We will live and see… These are the highlights :

Lazio - Inter 0-2! Inter in the final of the Cup | VIDEO

Inter Milano won the game against Lazio Roma on Stadio Olimpico 2-0, in the second leg of the Italian Cup semi-final. In the first leg the score was 0-0. Inter now waits to see who they will meet in the final , AS Roma or Catania. Materazzi got a red card in the 83rd minute and will miss the final. This guy is a menace I tell you ! When he loses his temper, he won’t be shy to attack you suddenly. I bet he’s got more red cards than he scored goals in his career . Lazio is at the end of a horrible season, with 4th place in the Champions League group, 13th place in Seria A, and now with no chance of playing in an European cup next year after this defeat in the Italian cup. I sure am glad I ain’t a Lazio fan right now .

El Clasico can save a disastrous season for Barcelona

Real Madrid - Barcelona , probably the best known derby on the planet, will have a lesser importance in the championship race this time. Real are already champions, winning their 31st title sunday, while Barcelona is struggling to reach the 2nd position, where Villarreal is now. It was an awful season for Barca, the catalans most certanly saying goodbye to their coach at the end of it, Guardiola taking charge from this summer. If Barcelona wins this one, it would be one for the fans, cause like myself, we are highly dissapointed with this disastrous season. The match will start at 21:00 local time, on Santiago Bernabeu.

UNICEF “sacks” Ronaldo! A career reaching to a shameful end

It’s getting worser and worser for Ronaldo. After the phone company TIM from Italy broke the Brazilian star’s contract, UNICEF did the same. The scandal involving him and the transexuals in Rio de Janeiro costs him a lot it seems. Ronaldo was a UNICEF ambassador and went to different countries to take part to actions supervised by them. It’s a disastrous ending to a career full of achievements and glory. He affirms that he will get back on the pitch after he will recove from his injury, but allow me to be sceptical in this matter . It’s a compromised career I think…

Chelsea defeated Newcastle United yesterday 2-0, and keeps close to Manchester United. Manchester is first in the Premier League, with as much points as Chelsea. The boys in blue hope for a fatal mistake from Man Utd in the last game of the Premiership to have a chance to win it. These are the goals of the game from Newcastle :

 

Barcelona crushes Valencia 6-0 | VIDEO

Barcelona demolished Valencia today 6-0 on Camp Nou, in a game that looked more of a way of getting revenge for the Champions League elimination. Valencia had an awful start, giving away a penalty in the 4th minute which Messi made sure it would end up behind the net. Then it was all a downfall for Valencia, Barca scoring 5 more times, the young sensation Bojan getting the last two goals of the game. Here are the highlights :
