Incredible sight at a soccer game from the first league in Belarus. The referee was drunk and couldn’t even stay on his feet to well :)) ! He was blaming some back pain by the end of the game but right after he got carried to the locker room, the drink test showed the real deal. Sergei Shmolik was WAY over limit so the Vitebsk- Naftan game that ended in a 1-1 draw with absolutely no cards was a big filth. What is this world coming to OH MY GOD :)) ! This is the footage :

Hleb towards Barcelona

Filed under: European soccer by: Football Highlights

Radio Catalunya announced yesterday that Alexander Hleb will be Barcelona’s player from the next season. It seems like Arsenal has finally approved his departure, after Bayern Munich and other clubs have declared their interest for the player. The midfielder from Belarus will cost Barca 15 million euros, the transaction being scheduled for the next days. At Arsenal since2005, Hleb didn’t quite win as many trophies as we all know he deserves, and one with the national team is pure fantasy at this moment. It was about time for him to go to a big club like Barcelona :) .

Arshavin to join Chelsea

Filed under: European soccer by: Live Soccer

Daily Mirror said Zenith St. Petersburg accepted the bid of 12 million pounds from the Blues for their best player, Andrei Arshavin. Although, coach Luiz Felipe Scolari was aiming to bring Robinho, Roman Abramovici desperately wants one of his compatriots at Chelsea and Arshavin is one of his favorite players.

Barcelona are also very interested in the 27-year-old, who has already revealed he is favorable to a Spanish switch.

But a Zenit source said: “Chelsea have been in contact, a deal agreed and Arshavin will fly to London to discuss personal terms.

“He was very attracted by the chance of playing in Spain but feels English football would suit his style better and, with Roman Abramovich involved, there is another link and reason.”
