Today marks the 20th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster, in which 96 Liverpool fans died due to crushing at the Hillsborough Stadium during the 1989 FA Cup semi-final. A memorial was held at Anfield in which 30,000 people paid tribute to the deceased through song, minutes of silence, 96 red balloons being released and more.
