Group C is full of surprises ! The world champions Italy lost 3-0 to Holland in a game in which nothing looked like the team that won the WORLD CUP 2 years ago. Holland made a great game and got a 2-0 lead in the first half, although the first goal was scored after an obvious offside ! This group is really interesting 
These are the goals of the game :
Due to further investigation we must apologize for saying that the first goal was scored after an offside, the Italian defender from behind the net making the goal available .
I just wanted to make clear that the first goal was NOT from an offside position, because an italian defender was lying on the ground past the defense line. The rules clearly state that a player can not withdraw himself from the play by going outside the line, thus, effectively causing him to put van Nistelrooij at an “ON side” position.
