The new ball for the EURO 2008 final

Today in Vienna, the official EURO 2008 Final ball was presented by Michel Platini (foto), the UEFA president, and Herbert Hainer, the Adidas president. The ball, silver with black, is called Europass Gloria, because “the winners will be covered in glory and honor”, explained the two. “Owing to the ball’s extraordinary qualities, Europass Gloria offers a much better precision, in any sort of weather conditions.” , reavealed the Adidas reprezentative.

Today was revealed to the public,on occasion of the draws in Nyon,the official Nike ball for the Uefa Cup final 2008.

The ball has prnted the Uefa Cup trophy and has references to the last 10 cities that hosted the final,including Manchester.It has a high-tech 5 layer design and it’s cross-linked.The nitrogen-expanded foam makes it to stay flexible and makes it good for any weather conditions.For a good release on impact it features a compressed polyethylene layer that stores energy and the stability,as well as the structure are given by the polyester support fabric.Uefa has a partnership contract signed with Nike since 2007.

The UEFA Cup Conquest Ball will be available in shops from Saturday.
