It has been a long wait for Spannish soccer but it finally got what it has been waiting for so many years…the Euro Cup. And although when it comes to clubs, Spain is one of the top countries, this trophy is the first after 44 years

These are the highlights of the final :
Inter Milano won the game against Lazio Roma on Stadio Olimpico 2-0, in the second leg of the Italian Cup semi-final. In the first leg the score was 0-0. Inter now waits to see who they will meet in the final , AS Roma or Catania. Materazzi got a red card in the 83rd minute and will miss the final. This guy is a menace I tell you ! When he loses his temper, he won’t be shy to attack you suddenly. I bet he’s got more red cards than he scored goals in his career 
. Lazio is at the end of a horrible season, with 4th place in the Champions League group, 13th place in Seria A, and now with no chance of playing in an European cup next year after this defeat in the Italian cup. I sure am glad I ain’t a Lazio fan right now .
Bayern Munich won friday night the German Cup , beatting Borussia Dortmund 2-1. It’s the 14th cup in their history. 
Toni was the man of the game but the road to this win wasn’t an easy one. Although Bayern scored first, a goal signed Toni of course (11′) , Petrici from Borussia equalised in the last minutes of regular time. Ottmar Hitzfeld was going crazy on the bench. But lucky for him and for the whole bavarian team, Toni striked again (103′) and brought it home . Oliver Kahn was the happiest man on the pitch, because at the age of 38, the old shag won another trophy right before his retirement in summer. Bayern is also favorite in winning the title this year after a disapointing season in 2007.
