After what was called a lucky win with Cyprus, Italy had no problems winning against Georgia. After Di Natale, now came De Rossi turn to be a hero.
First time in the 16th minute. De Rossi fond space for a shot from about 20 meters after dribbling past an opponent, and opened the score with a thundering strike!
Then late in the game, in the 89 th minute to be exact. Del Piero found De Rossi with a good pass after a nice dribble, the Roma midfielder beat Loriya with a low diagonal shot from inside the area.
Italy dominated the match from the start to the end.
