CHELSEA - Liverpool 3-2 a.e.t. Chelsea vs. Manchester in Moscow final

Chelsea is in the Uefa Champions League final where they will meet Manchester United, this season’s great rivals, the two teams also fighting to win the Premiership. The score was 1-1 after 90 minutes, but in the extra time , Chelsea got two goals , one by Lampard who scored a penalty, and one by Drogba after a great play from Anelka. Babel scored the 3-2 goal with 3 minutes left, but it wasn’t enaugh.These are the goals :

Chelsea managed to get a draw in the last minute of the game from Anfield, thanks to an own goal from Rise in the 90th minute. Liverpool scored first in the 42nd minute, goal signed Kuyt, but they lost all their hard work in the end. Chelsea is now favorite to go to the final with either Barcelone or Manchester, the teams that play the other semi-final tomorrow night.

Chelsea won 2-0 against Fenerbahce after a good representation of the Turkish side. Another surprinsing night

Liverpool managed to pull a draw on Emirates Stadium last night after Kuyt got the equaliser in the first half.Adebayor scored first a few minutes before that.The final score was the same as in the first half 1-1. An open second leg if I can say so .

Fenerbahce stunned  the audience when they came back from 0-1 and won 2-1! Although Deivid scored an own goal in the first half, he got the winnig one in the 80th minute and the fans from Istanbul were bursting. Can we see a surprise in the second leg in London?!

Manchester demolishes Liverpool 3-0!

Manchester Utd won the English derby today 3-0 in a game that ended a few minutes ago.Man Utd first scored through Brown in the 34th minute and before the break , Liverpool got another strike when Masquerano saw the red card.In the second half the downfall of Liverpool was obvious and Manchester got two more goals in two minutes thanks to Ronaldo in the 79th minute and Nani (81st minute) the new star from Old Trafford.Manchester is now 6 points clear from second place Arsenal who plays the London derby with Chelsea at 16:00 local time.

Liverpool eliminated Inter Milano and is through the next phase of the Uefa Champions League.After a first half that ended with the score 0-0,Liverpool scored thanks to Torres in the 64th minute.Inter lost any hope actually from the 50th minute when Burdisso saw his second yellow card and was sent off.Final score on aggregate: LIVERPOOL 3 - 0 Inter

Xabi Alonso misses tonight’s match

Xabi Alonso had a major conflict with Rafa Benitez.The Liverpool coach didn’t want to leave the player home next to his wife who is expecting their first baby,and so Xabi Alonso refused to make the trip to Milano,where Liverpool meets Inter in the Uefa Champions League.He preffered to stay beside his wife,Nagore Aramburu,although Benitez was clear:”Soccer should come first!”.

Xabi would have wanted to come to Italy this morning , but the coach refused.The english media affirms that Alonso can very well leave Liverpool this summer after the scandal.In 2005,while Benitez was at the Clubs World Cup,his father died but he decided not to go at the funeral and to stay in Japan,where Liverpool lost the final against Sao Paulo 1-0.
