Manchester United are the new champions of Europe ! The devils defeated Chelsea in the Champions League Final after the penalty kicks 6-5. It was 1-1 after 90 minutes thanks to goals scored by Ronaldo and then Lampard in the first half. Anelka missed the final penalty for Chelsea and sent the cup to Manchester. United win the Champions League after 9 years, with the same Ferguson on the bench, but this time after admiting of having the best team ever. These are the highlights and penalty kicks :

Manchester United won the Premier League today after the win at Wigan ! The devils won it in the last game, while Chelsea made only a draw home with Bolton. The best team won it I can say . Manchester United defeated West Ham United today 4-1 in their last game on Old Trafford. Cristiano Ronaldo scored 2 goals on his final show for the home fans. They are now just one game away from winning the Premier League, or even better, if Chelsea loses to Newcastle monday, the devils are crowned champions. These are the highlights :

Barcelona and Manchester United ended in a draw the first leg of the Uefa Champions League semi-finals on Camp Nou. The game started great for the devils, Manchester getting a penalty kick in the 3rd minute. Cristiano Ronaldo took the shot and missed! After that, Barcelona took control of the game, and missed a few good chances. Manchester replied a few times, but something didn’t work in their game tonight Ronaldo didn’t shine as we all expected and so the decisive match will be on Old Trafford.

Last hope for Barcelona tonight

Tonight on Camp Nou will take place the second semi-final of the Uefa Champions League , where Barcelona meets Manchester. It’s the last chance for Barca to save something from this season, after they are curently in 3rd place, after Real and Villarreal in Primera. Manchester is having a great season, the devils being the leaders in Premier League and their star Cristiano Ronaldo is most likely to win FIFA Player of the Year award .

It will be a close game but as much as a Barcelone fan that I am, I must be honest and say that Man Utd has the better chances of going through .

Ferguson:”The match with Arsenal was torture”

The manager of Manchester United is happy that he won the English derby 2-1. “It was a great game, incredible.You won’t find another one better than this in the whole season ” declared Ferguson, that also mentioned : ” It has been a torture at the same time . Oh my God how much I was in pain on the bench ! Arsenal  came on Old Trafford and played their best soccer , but we still won.I couldn’t of asked for more from my boys. He concluded by praising his favorite player, Cristiano Ronaldo : “The pressure was on his shoulders when he had to repeat the penalty kick.He had proven courage and  ability . A wonderful shot. A few inches from the bar. No goalkeeper could have saved that”

Cristiano Ronaldo extends his contract

Manchester United is going to make an offer Ronaldo can’t refuse, one that wil make him the best paid player in Premier League! According to “The Sun”, Cristiano will extend his contract before EURO 2008.

Although the talented player from Portugal still has 4 more years left of the present contract, Man Utd wants to keep him as much as possible, especially now when big clubs have shown interest for Ronaldo.His new contract will have a 5 year length and it will be the biggest one in Manchester’s history : 40 million pounds! This means 150 000 a week

Cristiano Ronaldo has shown a great shape this season, being in pole position for winning the FIFA Player of the Year title and.At only 23 years old he managed to score 37 goals this season
